We are a Maine-based bakery crafting small-batch, organic, plant-based confections that nourish body and spirit. Our offerings are nutrient-dense and joyfully indulgent —made with intention, integrity, and heart. Our offerings are made without gluten, cane sugar, soy, dairy, and eggs.
We source many of our ingredients from fair-trade and regenerative farms who care deeply about the planet and those who tend to her soil. We play with what is local and in season when possible-Maine maple syrup, juicy vine-ripened strawberries, wild Maine blueberries, nettles, tulsi and more!
The Baker
Jeanette Richelson ís a sweet human wanting to share more joy in the world! One way she does this is through sharing her nurturing delicious treats with her community! Jeanette is currently pursuing her Master’s in Integrative Nutrition and loves weaving herbal nourishment into her creations. She is dedicated to supporting local farmers and regenerative agriculture. When she is not baking or coming up with new flavor ideas, she may be gardening, bouncing on her rebounder, cuddling her pup, strolling on the beach, or adventuring with her beloved.

Nishmati in Hebrew means, my soul or my breath. Our mission is motivated by our deep desire to bring balanced and sustainable sweetness and joy into this world. Our offerings are expressions from soul to breath.
We don’t just bake — we alchemize. Every recipe is designed to support wellbeing while delighting the senses. We are rooted in Sacred Commerce, meaning our growth uplifts our community and our business is built on reciprocity, collaboration and care.
